Dang, the real sifus come later and shoot me. Im nowhere near sifu honestly, just trying to help fellow enthusiasts to enjoy badminton like I do ! Im pretty sure everyone in this thread would be glad to help too.
SifuSotong dah datang dah ! For a starter, most important to get the technique and footwork right first, but getting a suitable racket helps alot too.
Clone as in the paintjob imitation, both of them play differently. If you want sub RM100, the Apacs Nano 9900 is a good racket at its price. My friend has it and sometimes I do play with it, easy racket to play with, there is Apacs Finapi series, and RSL Scream M12 for RM100 including string and grip. RM150 - Rm200 there is Prince Triple Threat series, but the frame is kinda fragile (based on reviews I read and listen to), Apacs VH1800, VH2000, Victor Artery Tec TI99, Wilson K Factor series. RM200 - 250 plenty of decent racket, the Prince Oversize, Dunlop Biometric, Few Lining Ultra Carbon series if Im not mistaken. If you wanna give Yonex a go, VT7/VT5 are a good racket, or maybe Ti-5 or Ti-Zero LTD. There's Apacs Tantrum 200 but its kinda stiff you might not like it but its a very decent racket. At least these are what I can think of.
Edit : Saw you asking about the Cab21 Special. For a starter you might not like it, as its oval, the sweetspot is small, but it generates good power provided you hit the sweetspot consistently. But it's definitely solid and handsome racket for its generation (which cabs arent)

tarak sifu at all
i iz sad
mscw88,
generally if ur arm no strength (like mine), go for flexible shaft, low tension
if u have powderful arm swing, go for stiff shaft, high tension
if u have somewhere between the both, go for mid stiff, proper tension that u like
the stiffer and higher tension, the more accurate ur shots are
provided u have the strength to tame them
else go for more flexible, lower tension
best thing to do, is to try out ur frens' rackets before buying
buying a racket without trying beforehand, can be very costly (especially for beginner like me
