Was watching one of Real Madrid's game the other game. Watching Alonso's dictating the midfield was fun. It reminds me of us(or to be precise, Rafa) forcing him to leave against his will, he left and become a better player(already a good player though)....

Then, few other names pop out in my mind... with the likes of Robben, Sneijder, VDV all left RM and turned out to be a vital player in their current club.

Was wondering if any club faces this kind of problem?

Due to injury obviously he declined, but looks his performance when back in action, even Ronaldo praise him from the comeback of long injury.

To be honest, he didnt have much chances to shine. He's always injured. I'd say no, he's not doing well in RM.

Owen didn't do well in RM. Warm up bench most of the time there.

I disagree. Owen was a super-sub over there in RM. scoring almost 1 goal in every game he played. I think as to why he was always warming the bench is due to RM's mentality at that time, where they constantly field Galacticos to appease their fans. Owen, sadly, isn't considered by many as a Galactico

As in the players do not want to leave. Forced to leave because club want to ship them out.

nope?
because SAF wanted him to move on rather than becoming a squad player and Everton was his choice as well ?
Look at how he develop after leaving and he have no regret

The one that came to mind most prolly Jaap Stam, which was sold abruptly.

doh.gif he wasnt the first 11 that time because he's not like others galaticos la..

his scoring rate from bench i think 2 games for 1 goal..or maybe 1 on 1 perhaps? IDK..but he was excellent at real.

RM is the problem, not owen that time

Yes, if you only refer to his goal ratio over minute. If he was successful, he wouldnt have left the team just after one season. Not that im saying he's not a good player, but his chances were limited due to arrival of new players in team and which is why he left.. If you only judge a book by its cover...

Richard dunne was the captain of Man City, and he has won MCFC player of the season more than anyone else eh? Their transfer police simply fecked him up

after T-Team was made unable to play in 2009 malaysia Cup, hairuddin omar was pretty confident and excited to offer his service on loan to his home state Terengganu FA.

To his shock, Che Mat Jusoh, Teregganu FA perrenial president, not even interested and gave him the cold shoulder. last minute scramble enables him to secured a last minute loan deal to Negeri sembilan..

He played a crucial role all the way for Negeri that year which include a sucker punch goal against Terengganu in the semifinal second leg at Kuala teregganu... take that CMJ..

he then went on to score in the final to win the Cup with Negeri Sembilan to cap a wonderful year eventhough being rejected by his home state..

he then signed for Kelantan and again go on to score in the final for the consecutive time to win the Malaysia Cup with Kelantan, ironically, against his former team, Negeri Sembilan...
