Truthfully, my old rig with an E8400 @3Ghz with HD6850 can run everything at ultra with 120+ fps. Previously HD4850 was giving me around 55+ fps
Don't think the CPU is the problem here.

Well E8400 @3Ghz is at stock. Even I OC'ed to 4Ghz, don't see much changes, 5fps the most.
I believe its more towards the GC and above average proc will do. E8x00 C2D series or any i-series.  |
