due to the super duper hot weather recently, is kinda diff for me to do hiit 'jogging' outside... (afraid of getting heat stroke xD) so i decided to try some indoor circuit cardio... so this is wat i 'designed'...

a circuit contains 6 bodyweight exercise:-

high knee
jump squat
jumping jack
regular push up
burpee
plank

each exercise i try to do as many reps i could in 30 secs... so total time for one circuit will be 3 mins

then i take 3 mins rest before i cont the next circuit... and total i did 3 sets of circuit.... which makes up total time of 15 min of cardio (3 sets of exercise plus 2 sets of rest, each 3 mins)

i tried this workout today and after this circuit cardio i feel suffocated for oxygen, breathing like an angry ox... and i cant barely stand up due to my leg really like lack of energy...

could this be due to work too much on my legs? and can this replace the normal hiit 'jogging' as im in my quest to lose body fat... can any pros evaluate on this? thx alot!! =)

i think any cardio session is good if it makes your heart pounds fast and you breath rapidly. i mean it's what cardio does to your body anyway.

jogging is hurtful for your joint (knee)..try stationary bicycle or swimming.
