What do you mean? The fan or the led or both. I have a few CM led fans that at least one of the leds died prematurely. I mean after 3-6 months of usage. The fan is still working except the led. Now using Xigmatex. So far so good. Luck?

I'm not sure myself coz I've never done it before. but the fan can be disassembled easily for ease of cleaning so should be fine I guess. Don't ask me how to do it though. tongue.gif

thinner or spirits will do. but be careful don't put too much. it may damage the fan.

if you got some cheap unused fan maybe you should try experimenting with that first before trying with the more expensive ones. Try to spray it first then try to remove the paint, see what happen.
