BTW a 3TB HDD is not worth it though. A very good example is the Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB. It costs about RM695 and AFAIK, Caviar Green is a really slow drive. I would rather take 3xSpinpoint F3s and cost less whilst giving much better performance.

what if format the 3TB hdd into 3 x 1TB partitions using Win7 then plug into a WinXP PC? Will it works?

Erm excuse me.. i dont think having multipe partition will need more or higher psu.. dunno tongue.gif
my old system before got 4 hdd

1x 1tb with 5 partition
1x 1.5 with 4 partition
1x250gb with 2 partition
1x350gb with 3 partition

and they all are powered using 1 CM 550watt psu..
also before i got the 1.5tb they were powered by cap ayam PSU 450watt.. no problem i suppose..

never occurred error to me
