hi..
i also new in ICE, n got myvi with stock HU and 1set soundstream component. (no amp)
i heard my friend said its better to put the component set in front rather than behind. izit true?
Can i just add 1x2chan amp+subwoofer and component set directly from stock HU?
or more appropriate, install amp 4channel. which is better?
please correct me if im wrong..thanks

Yes, put it as the front. But since it is a Myvi, so need to spend some amount of $$$ to make the car mold and drill some holes.
If your speaker put the front door, then you will need to disable the front 4" speakers on te dash.

Buy 2ch to power the sub, and use HU to power the front speakers... can, but it will not sound as nice as you spend on a 4ch to power both sub and the front comp.

Myvi have the option to purchase the after market casing. And of course with some modification, steady/mount it like how you can get from a customer job. Last I heard is ~RM300...

You might need to have extra cash for installation and wire job....

Share your budget if you would like for amp recommendation. smile.gif

A brand new decent one, not possible.

A used decent one yes.... plenty of choices around. I saw a lot of people selling used amp and 1k+ in the Garage Sales area.

...If lazy to think, then please get the used Tru 4.65 from me. laugh.gif
