For now the most common CFW would be Vortex 1.5 in my opinion, and so far all the cfw you can only view the chinese word but not input, which means you can only read but not write. Lastly, it depends on which cfw you install but most of it i think can update nokia maps without trouble. Hope that helpsĀ  smile.gif

That really helps a lot bro! I found out other CFW just now, like XTE Blaze Ultimate, XpressTech by appleorangefruit, Pirated, Quicken, Photon, Xtension Legacy.. so far Photon looks good to me, anyone using it?

This guide boleh pakai ah? I really total noob in flashing stuffs.. I want
- Clean all my current firmware
- Flash my phone to v52.0.101
- Install CFW (in this case Photon)

A question. I would like to delete all my application leftover files in C:\. Meaning I want JUST firmware and system files in C:\. Can that be done using hard reset?

to install a clean firmware, you need to delete these folders :
1. Data
2. Private
3. Resource
4. Sys
5. System

Thanks.

Thanks! Should I delete it while the phone still on? After delete, then use JAF to flash the new v52.0.101?

Is firmware v52.0.101 doesn't have any chinese writing input support?!? I only see 2 variance of 52.0.101 in Navifirm and both are for Italy..

I use Expertti V7.04 C6V40/V52 CFW.
Set to auto offline during midnite.
Now on day 4 using 3G network.  thumbup.gif

For chinese language input, use Baidu - easy Eng/Chi switching.
Use Font router with this unicode font : Full Character Support in Every Language: including Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, etc..
Must put font in C: to avoid phone restart when in Mass Storage Mode.

cool bro, gonna try it tonight! i just need to get FontRouterMan software only right?
