Those expensive ones are quite good. I'm using estee lauder for my pore for years, and it cost a lot. Still using, and I can't leave without them T_T I do know you can get generic ones such as Shiseido whitening series for 1/3 of the price. But I never tried. They are a few of the reputable DIY cosmetic company online. Usually the company will find out what are the active ingredients in those expensive creams and made a generic one for you with the same thing. Cost quite less than the original one.

To find out these DIY company, you can find reviews of them at active skin forums such as EDS (essential day spa forum) and Skin Care Talk forum.

Perhaps u shud consider to take oral product, the result will b faster. Try Stevico tomato extract & green tea extract, my personal experience aftr consuming d product s d pore size has reduced, skin texture bcome smoother & brighter. Nw ance scars also disappeared.

Stevicocareline, i have heard of this product through a friend of mine. How much per box/bottle? Any side effect? This friend of mine recommended it to me, she used to have a lot pimples on her face, her skin s like sand paper but lately when i saw her, pimples all gone, and her skin become shinning and have a very fair complexion. She told me that tomato & green tea extract helps, i wonder whether there is any side effect? I used to have a lot pimples on my face, now can't find a good skincare product to get rid of the scar, my pores size also very big, i have to use thick foundation to cover it. Please give me more info about tomato extract. Thank you.

becareful with certain whitening products as some of them might cause hypopigmentation (lighten too much)

Try the Kiehl's Dark Spot Corrective solution. Personally I think it works really well for my scars and acne spots, it just fades nicely. In case u wanna try out scar gel, I highly recommend the Hiruscar, 3 weeks time (for me). Take more anti oxidant food like blueberries, tomatoes and take vitamin c and E for nice skin.

I'm using this Korea product, Miyome Multi Repair Essence. Its whitening effect is impressive. Definitely worth for a try

Vitamin C is helpful for brightening and tightening skin

Here is one of the Vitamin C Serum Recipe:
1/2 teaspoon natural real food Vitamin C Powder (pure L-Ascorbic Acid)
1 tablespoon distilled water OR 1 teaspoons distilled water to dissolve and 2 Tablespoons vegetable glycerine
a dark colored container to store (Vitamin C oxidizes easily)

How to Make Vitamin C Serum:
Dissolve the Vitamin C powder in the water. If only using water and Vitamin C, you are done. This will store for up to 2 weeks or longer in the fridge.
If using glycerine, dissolve the Vitamin C in the smaller amount of water, then stir in glycerine and store. This version will last a month or longer.

NOTE: Personally, I like the pure Vitamin C and water recipe as a toner after cleansing, though glycerine is moisturizing and softening for the skin and will extend the recipe.
