And there's many ROM out there and have read not all ROM is bug free but how should I choose which to flash? Sorry, I'm really new into this.

(Do i need to get both of this ACE PVT ENG S-OFF / ACE PVT SHIP S-OFF ?)

(Do i need to backup anythings if future i need to flash back to stock rom/CID for warranty purposese ? )

* What do i need to do if future i need to send for warranty and i'm custom rom.

anyone know how to flash the radio ril file? is it just same with the way to flash rom? or same as flash radio?

nothing it prefect...
for sense 3.0 rom,u can try vivo or kingdom...
for non-sense rom, u can try MIUI or cm7...
LeeDroid,ARHD also worth to try...

Bro, after perm root phone, do radio s-off and after done, your phone should be ACE PVT SHIP S-OFF.

After radio s-off, you need to do eng s-off, after done this your phone should be ACE PVT ENG S-OFF, which is you're pass to flash ROM.

All that CID, s-off and rooting thingy can be S-ON back if you want to claim warranty. got method to all of that.

Flashing RIL are same like you flash ROM. put zip file in root of SD Card, boot to recovery and flash it there.

I just able to get ENG S-OFF but not SHIP S-OFF. But one forumer said without SHIP S-OFF is fine.

ENG S-OFF will over-rule SHIP S-OFF... So you won't see it anymore...

Depends on you. ViVO is good.. can try ARHD also.. LeeDroid also not bad. Better battery life, can flash CM7 which is not Sense rom.

Need to ask, how stable is VIVO right now? As good as ARHD? Also, which kernel would you recommend?

Can say ViVO on par to ARHD, +- something la. Some say other kernel cannot be flashed to ViVO. Example, you cannot flash LeeDroid kernel to ViVO rom. i donno whether this is true or not. But MDJ's kernel is

Kernel is actually what ah? driver/plugin?
Always read 'flash kernel on this ROM other ROM', but don't what exactly it is.

Currently using ARHD 5.1.7 rom + 12.54 radion + leedroid kernel...so far performance is fast as compare to the one i hv before root and battery life lasted me 1 day 6 hours and still left 16% with moderate use all this many thanks to bro syuki for guiding me through the flashing process...still wanna run some test before flashing to other rom...still not sure if wanna try vivo or rcmix rom or not...not sure of their stability?
