yea my server browser is broken also.

on 1st startup it works fine.
after that, no endless amt of update, refresh etc can make the server list work anymore.

apparently the lag is caused by older version of punkbuster.
have to manually update punkbuster.

yea get a more powerful gfx card.

i using 9600pro all low and distance 100% also cant see that far.
but then when i'm in a plane nothing else matters

well i cant see tanks or apcs from long distance also.

not much problems for infantry.

how you change the key?
cos v1.12 now the cdkey is encrypted in the registry.
so you have to do one extra step to encrypt it in the registry or it will be invalid.

well mine ctd couple nights ago in the middle of a game.
havent had it do that since v1.0

my 1.2 patch is working fine.
no pb errors yet.

maybe its called being patient abit.
is your hdd working like crazy?
probably the hdd catching up, try waiting about 30 secs and see.

most of us were smart enough to do two accounts when bf2 came out, one with the amp.nick and the other regular nick.
cos back then there was no prefix to use, stupid bf2.

how about LDI?
it is 50% longer

mine happens to ALL EA TH servers.

i'm also using 1gb of ram.
no prob so far, had that prob with only 512mb ram tho.

usually ppl put virtual memory at 1.5x your ram amt.

should be streamyx fault.
cos this evening on v1.22 also i had probs.

why dont you try going straight to installing the the full 1.3 patch instead?

you try to enter your cd key again in the registry.

i think you need to reduce your gfx setting.
i used to play all low on amd2400, 512mb ram and 9600 pro.
some ppl with high end rigs also play all low, so can load faster.

maybe your patch is corrupted?
or try downloading full 1.3 patch and then 1.3->1.4 patch and see how.
