But if you don't have good soldering skills, learn it 1st before you proceed.

You can find custom made interconnect from ssyycc with good price to replace your stock ones for improvements. 

And yea forgotten that you can stuff some more foam to your satellites speaker if you can open it out.

Time for you to google some info 

I had seen M1335 modification before in chinese web....

Changing interconnect and add more stuffing to the woofer box.

LOL. Means I'm misleaded as well~~ But nothing to do with me xD Got M1335 and M3400... The next speaker will be bought only after I leave my U. That time, i will only get S series     

To my ears, M3400, for the bass. To me, I think that M1335's treble is a bit more ear piercing while m3400's satellite can give a "smoother??" feeling to my ear. Details wise... Can't say anything as I don't have them together. I once own it but now my mum/bro/dad own it... (I mean the M3400). I got only m1335 left in my hostel. M3400 is way overpower for my room here, condo somemore. Depends on you la~~ But RM160+- for 6.5" Subwoofer (lowest price for 6.5" i guess), worth it! Why don't you audit them in lowyat... But hor... Lowyat nowadays... I don't know why. Seems like every shop is controlling their speaker volume. All IT straight reduce from their input(source in which even the speaker volume on 100%, it's still not loud at all, S730 that won't stomp your heart. Get it? LOL) Maybe they set up such policy. Not sure. Other shops all tune down speaker volume too after customer test test.

Lol. Thanks for the thumbs up. I don't really know how to describe sound. I just like it and say it's good when i listen to it and it sounds nice to my ears. In terms of bass, M3400 really wins a lot. I don't know why but m1335 got sort of... Clipping or what on the lower frequency. Whenever i tune up the bass knob on m1335, i won't let it goes over erm... 70% or 80% as it sounds bad to my ears but this doesn't exist in M3400. In M3400, goes all the way you like. What I mean here is. Distortion seems to happen in M1335 when bass is overwhelmed(somemore my laptop somehow output sound with more bass compared to my phone and mp3 player). Sound produced at lower frequency goes wrong to my ear. M3400 on the other hand, will only produce MORE bass. Distortion is less. Don't know why this happens but possibly due to their design.
