sri computer at lowyat plaza have R2600 R2700 R2800 demo unit, R2800 bigger than R2700 alot. the sound quality also better, get poison gaogao... and currently have promotion, RM699.
I wrongly remember Sri Computer as ALL IT hypermarket and so I went there instead. They don't have it and also the guy there at the speaker corner were not really friendly.
I then went to Viewnet to check, they don't have it as well, and the guy at the speaker corner offer me R2500 instead, I asked if they have the demo unit because I want to hear how it sounds, he told me he can open it for me to hear once I confirm want to buy, so I LOL infront of him and left. What's up with these people at the speaker corner?
Will go back to LYP soon to check it at Sri Computer.
Yup i also went to viewnet and All IT hypermarket also, i asked about studio 8, they say don't have then ignore me. you may go to Sri Computer and check with Edifier sales person name Victor. Very friendly guy. Just bought 1 unit from him yesterday. Pay with credit card without charges.
Please share with us how you feel about the Studio 8
Studio 8 produce very clear and much natural sound compared to Edifier C3, bass is enough to shake your room. Simply with the 3.5mm connected to hand-phone unit already can feel the different. Currently connected RCA input to creative x-fi Elite Pro, and optical input thru spdif onboard sound, the sound quality are slightly better with creative sound card, but optical input produce lower hissing sound.
Hi guys, I just got myself a set of Edifier C3 today. I'm wondering whether what is the best sound card driver for the best performance of C3?
i am pairing it with creative x-fi elite pro, with the x-fi crystalizer you will notice the different. It also have bass boost too.
If you wish to improve the sub-woofer bass, you may try to change the connection cable to better quality one, i did changed mine to Van Damme blue series speaker cable, it really help. If you know some basic soldering, then can consider DIY to change the cable inside the sub-woofer as well.
Need some advise for a sound card here, actually my ass a bit itchy and want to make some improvement for my old Edifier C3 2.1 speakers.
i Currently using Mobo : Gigabyte EP45-UD3R, Realtek onboard sound card :
Desktop PC : Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Realtek ALC889A codec High Definition Audio 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel Support for S/PDIF In/Out Support for CD In 65% for Movie, especially for the action movie which contain a lot of boom scene. 25% for Music, MP3 320kbps song, mostly K-Pop song. 10% Game, Dota 2 and some other game like Resident Evil 5/6. 1) Asus Xonar DX 2) CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER X-FI XTREME AUDIO PCI SOUND CARD (SB0790) 2) Creative Audigy2 ZS Don't know which one to choose But the way, is the difference will be large with these sound cards for my Edifier C3 or just slightly improve?
Get Asus Xonar DX or Creative X-FI , personally i own x-fi elite pro and audigy2 ZS , x-fi is much better than audigy2 zs.
