i am going to get a new set of 5.1 to replace my R501 which had been serving me for almost 7 or 8 years (if i not mistaken i bought it 2004) flawlessly. i am very happy with it and it is still rocking.

the only problem is this is the old version, without tweeter, so as expected the high frequency is a bit noisy.

so my question is, how big the different for DA5000 Pro compare to HCS5640?

i heard DA5000 Pro is more power full, but by how many? i like the external control of HCS5640 because it provide easy access for headphone jack.

by the way, i am using Asus Xonar D2X, and the speaker is intended to put in bed room, so i believe HCS5640 should be more than enough?
