C3 and DA5000 uses same satellites design, S530 and S730 use the same satellite.
The difference here is the tweeter and the cone material used...

M3300 satellites is the brightest among all, that is what i know  biggrin.gif

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Eh? same satellites design? i thought they are the same satellites..

Erm, when i look back to edifier website,
i got the feeling that..
C5 is 2.1 version of HCS5640
C5 is enhanced version of C3
now i wondering, if the subwoofer used in C5 is totally the same as C3, they look alike though. same goes with the sat.
damm, i already got C3, and now C5?
i wonder the C5 amp got moar power than C3?

Mr Edifier, may i trade my C3 amp for C5 amp? brows.gif

jk, jk, ,jk sweat.gif

actually, going to 20hz is pretty much impossible for PC speakers. especially with only 8". even the S730 is nowhere near 20hz. but if tuned correctly at least the DA5kpro can reach 40 - 35hz with ease.
*
Eh really? btw, is THX cretified speaker can reach 20Hz?
i just wondering about it right now.

Go for R2600 if possible, if not then R1900TIII, if volume control at the back is a problem then go for R2500.

R2500 is about 11kg and the whole box is 12kg.
R2600 is very good for the price~ Can go moderate loud and sound good.
*
i wish i could find a cheap powered bookshelf speaker around C3 sat size,
btw, how the r2600 perform?
and are the smaller sibling R1900TIII produce tight bass like the C3?

i love mid size bookshelf speaker but with bass,
not those boomy bass but tight bass, ground shaking bass hurt my ear.. sweat.gif

after 1 night of thinking, i guess i will take the r1900t3, r2600 is huge like hell, my desk is small, and the r1900t3 perfect for me.

and one more thing, who know how to make a small 2 channel amplifier for my m1250? i think by putting em in a larger wooden speaker enclosure and combine with a decent amp should give it a new life,

You can check out R2500 for alternative solution.

Btw, what happened to your M1250?
*
but the r2500 still huge, and my m1250 is ok but rarely used, because of it low quality sound, i suspect the amplifier is the culprit, that why i trying to give new life for these cheap speaker, pairing it with a T-Amp that cost 3 time of the speaker,

Then R1900TIII should be the one.
Btw, just don't expect too much from M1250, just mod it if you want it to sound better.
*
that exactly what i planning rite now, mod the speaker,

but not now, maybe in distant future

Hi guys

I just wondering is the Edifier H850 sound par with C3? or atlease with Logitech Z313.

Just audition the h850 at Midvally pc fair last January, but i cant test it with my own audio, seriously come on la Edifier, i cant audit it base on K-Pop music alone...

My Music genre is mixed,
J-Pop, Jazz, Bossa, pop, some rock, orchestra, oriental music n war drum, trance n techno

My last rm100 Sony MDR perform in between C3 and Z313, the high and mid is ok, the bass is mid tho, but this headphone have adjustable bass port, soo if i want more bass i could flip the lever, but after 4 years of heavy use, it died.

not really a fair way to compare headphone with speakers because they are different categories.
but if you insist, H850 sounds nothing like C3 as well as the other way round.

is it any better than C3? no
is it any worse than C3? no

H850 has a very shallow V shape sound where bass and trebles are tight which is totally different compared to C3's treble/mid heavy bright sound.
That is like the only way I can describe the comparisons between a headphone (H850) and a speaker (C3)

Oh wow,
then its perfect for me,
i think it sound nearly to my last headphone, MDR XD200,

I just love how the headphone reproduce the sound, not too bright just balance, and the bass is acceptable too, but not for bass head.
