Edifier doesn't like to produce boom boom song woofer, they prefer to produce a woofer which can reach lower frequency. That why you will notice the ceiling vibrate when you play low freq song.

Not the most suitable songs to use for waking up.

You can use the FM as your alarm sound. Hope this can solve your problem
