@tokyokiller

I'm not sure if you just asked me this question over on Facebook but I'll post my answer again over here for others to reference.

You cannot attach anything to an email from the Mail app but you can do it the other way around. Meaning you need to find the item(s) you want to attach and email it.

For example: You want to attach a photo. Go to "Photos" and tap on the arrow icon on the upper right corner. Then you will have to select the photo(s) you want to send as an attachment. Usually it is around 5 photos depending on size. If size limit is reached, the EMAIL button at the top left corner will automatically disable. Once you're done selecting the photo(s), just tap on EMAIL and a New Message window will pop up.

Unfortunately (as far as I know), you can only attach one type of media because of the way the Mail app works. This means you will have to send separate emails... one email for photos, one for video, one for documents, etc.

I hope that helps.

Added on May 4, 2011, 1:01 amThere should be a more efficient way to send diff types of media in one email if there is a need to but I haven't really looked into it. Perhaps a 3rd party app or jailbreak solution.
