hi all..idk wether issit ok to post my problem here.if its not ok admin pls remove my post.first of all..sorry for my bad english.

i need advise on my seiko watch that i bought from a retail store.i wanna know wether its a genuine product from seiko or wether its a immitation.fyi i nvr wear any watch before and this is my first bought.so i dun have any knowledge about it.i bought it from a small town retail store and the store itself had been there since 1960's so i think its less worries for me at first.

i bought 2 pcs of seiko watch last week for rm1100+.though its not the exspensive seiko model but i dun feel right when i cant refer the model to any of seiko watch at the internet.

furthermore, the retail store owner doesnt provide me with the serial number of both watches, no original seiko warranty card,no manual leaflet, just box, watch and receipt from the store.

when i ask the store owner regarding the warranty card (2 days after i bought) the excuses tht she gave me is unaccepted.she said they keep the warranty card for security purpose since too many buyer had lost their warranty card before..and when the watch got problem they cant proceed the warranty since the warranty card is lost.so to avoid the problem they keep the warranty card.is this ok?

i also worried since its only got 'st.steels' instead of 'stainless steels' at the back cover of the watch and the number plated at the back cover is different from the front.

here is some photo of the watch.i really hope someone can help me to justify wether its a genuine seiko or fake one.

check online for the model number. It should be the easist to track.

furthermore they should have a seiko box with manuals? how come the retail store can ignore this?

actually idk which one is the serial number.issit the one the backplate or..?there is nothing on the purchased receipt, only the quantity of the item/watch manufacture/total amount and 1 year warranty stated on the receipt. cry.gif .

they only give me their receipt of purchased items and seiko box (doesnt quiet look like the box for the watch) along with the watches.

fyi im out of town right now for 2 months and i cant get back to the shop.i did call them ask for warranty card and so on..but they kept dodging my question and saying im just wanna ruins their shop reputation..lol?

thats why im asking if anyone knows wether my watch is genuine or fake so that i can 'hantam' them kaw kaw and ask for full refund once i get back.
i dun want they 'hantam' me back if its really genuine item since i have zero knowledge about it.im a noob and im really in dilemma right now..

thanking u guys in advance.
