Hello, I'm currently using iPad to access this website and I found that when I decided to download a file in Microsoft word format, my iPad is unable to download, the respond I get is (safari failed to download file) Can anyone help me with this problem please? Also, I tried downloading Microsoft Word from download.com, my safari browser is unable to download it. Some say I need to install Windows OS to use Microsoft Word but is there a way to do it without installing Window OS? I looked at the new to iPad guide but with no solutions available.[ Thanks beforehand,

I'm not too happy about it because I'm iFag. I say bad things of Apple because they screw up big time and u live in denial. Apple cheat u and u say ok... WTF? Might as well let people cheat u on a daily basis and u still be happy and sing "Don't Worry, Be Happy" repeatedly. U are not the only Apple user here u know... I have many Apple products too... even my Macintosh SE 30 is still alive and kicking running on System 6! However, I want to be different and embrace new technology not suck up to SJ's 'magical' curse. if you want to just open those files, use goodreader. For editing look up those office apps. Not sure which one is the best, Pages and Numbers can be looked into.
Anyone here knows if excel pivot tables are supported by any office apps? I need to know! No real experts on this question yet.

QUOTE(wongpeter @ May 5 2011, 11:31 AM) In that case I think your iPad needs to be jailbroken 1st. You don't need to Jailbreak to in order to work with Office programs file or even have some light editing on it, there's a lot of apps in the appstore that able to do the task.
