normal result from the drying process. just remove it to prevent clogging.

yes clean after every drying cycle. its completely normal that whatever clothes you put inside the dryer will loose some of their fabrics. those are accumulated in the rim as well as in catchment (if your dryer has one). both require regular cleaning. i always give the rim a wipe before i take out the clothes so the lint doesnt get transfered on the clean cloth.
