omg you can hear the difference?  shocking.gif

read carefully, I said "can't" tongue.gif

If there is a difference I would say KSC-75 sounds brighter than SR-60.
But thats propably because KSC-75 requires less power compared to SR-60(like, duh)
and thus sounds 'louder' than SR-60.

you greatly underestimated the KSC-75. Even after hearing Grado SR-60 (RM290) full headphones I can't tell the difference between them. JUst get them, don't look further unless you have Rm300+

i second this.

Plus, they are amazing when amped. The improvement was wayyy beyond my imagination when i first amped it.

Ksc 75 is great. I would say that they are pretty much on par with my Shure E500. E500 obviously sounds better in some areas, but the difference is not as huge as one might think.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get a pair of headphones to use at home...my budget would be around RM200.

My setup would go from mp3 player > headamp > headphones

I generally listen to jpop and instrumentals/soundtracks....any recommendations would be most appreciated notworthy.gif

oh and it'll be nice if the headphones are comfy to wear also tongue.gif

Since i use my KSC 75 as a white rat to test most of my diy amps, here's a little list of my experience with the KSC 75 when paired with different amps.

1) CMOY - improvement around 20%, hated how the 2227 sounded. Although much fuller and more details, but sounds fatiguing.

2) Sijosae Diamond Buffer with different topologies and variants - "wow" factor. Smooth highs, detailed, transparent, controlled speed. dead silent background. For the first time, the KSC 75 isnt really that fatiguing!

3) Full fledge diamond buffers - awesome, has almost the same sound signature as the 2nd one, but just ALOT more better.

it's so shiny..i mean...how the **** they made it so frickin' shiny lol... the shininess of e500 is enough reason to own one... lol...

E500 sounds awesome, but I need to get better source and starts downloading things in lossless, they are not very forgiving to badly encoded mp3s.

My next venture is amp! I can't afford tomahawk so I'll probably buy one of the cheaper one like ibasso or minibox.
