Actually u can get an ATH-CK5 too for that budget
There's the Edifier ones too, not sure what the model name is It's an in-ear, not too sure how good it is though If you dont mind size, you should be a lot better off with a Koss KSC-75 That's a clip-on This post has been edited by KilJim: Mar 27 2006, 02:47 PM |

QUOTE(wlcling @ Mar 29 2006, 10:51 AM) why you guys saying ex71 not worth ah? I am so happy with the 150 i parted for it.... the bass.... yummy... because for that money you could get something better, a lot betterbut then again if you're looking specifically for canalphones, there's not many choices if you're happy with it, then good la, no reason not to be happy |

QUOTE(wlcling @ Mar 29 2006, 02:36 PM) yep kind of restricted since i'm for canalphones for their sound isolation and size. but anyway what are the attractive bassy choices for something that isnt a canalphone then? just wondering, why the heck are u so obsessed with bass?once you start listening to those "less bassy" phones then you'll realise what's been missing KSC-75 is the latest "best value" headphones, well they're clip-ons actually they're not bass-shy either |

i'm not obsessed with it, just that the EX71 sounds like the music is coming out from the next door room and you're listening through a thick wall
i never said "i want clarity, and lots of it, that's all i need no matter what else suffers!" when someone says xxx sux, it doesnt mean they're obsessed with the opposite well if all you're looking for is bass, then just keep the EX71 la if u want some portable headphones, try the Sennheiser PX100 i felt it was even heavier on the bass and better sound-wise in every sense This post has been edited by KilJim: Mar 31 2006, 01:37 AM |

perhaps true enough for gaming
but for movies i dont think stereo headphones can give u the real effects as the rear speakers from a 5.1 set can |

QUOTE(hashinclude @ Apr 4 2006, 11:19 PM) was thinking of the PHILIP'S Neckband Headphones SHS850/97 @ RM75 bulk order organised by DAVIS.... the HP805 should be better, unless u need them to be portableany idea if these headphones would fair better than the average rm15-rm50 range headphones? i mean if im spending rm75 ...it BETTER be good lol ... if so, get the Koss KSC-75 instead in fact, the KSC might be better even for non-portability |

QUOTE(tjwong @ Apr 9 2006, 01:50 AM) not funny..... Did you think the HP805 doesnt leak? Koss Ksc75 is nice but i hate those kind of design which clip on my ear and the sounds is quite laud which actually can hear by the one beside you. You're looking for something for a mp3 player right? Meaning you'll want them to be portable? Then why is the 805 even in the list You could try out an Edifier H260 Should be pretty good if it really is as discussed there |
