The Sony NX-1's are pretty good if you have a small mp3 player, you can attatch it to the bottom, i have a pair, they're pretty good, but sometimes you may find them a little underpowered, they dont feel as 'punchy' as the EX-71's although your looking at a big diff in price.
I reckon if you dont mind the price then go for the EX-81's. Mind that if you do go for the NX-1's be prepared for some wire tangles, there's a lot with the neckstrap and all that. And the white is gets dirty quickly, be prepared to clean them every month or so.

QUOTE(AlamakLor @ Mar 11 2006, 12:45 AM) LOL this question should be made a sticky...it's RM280-290 maybe if you update your first post in your 'where to buy what' thread and add it in...

nah, no ones reads those threads anyway you'll still get ppl coming here asking "where to buy sennheiser/grado?" the EX51, 71, NX1 should have the same drivers, difference probably how they're inserted into the ear EX81 is the one that's different and supposedly more balanced but dont think there's any real proof of this, just guesses among ppl

So that mean EX71 is different than *EX51 (also NX1) ? Perhaps Sony choose EX51 design to produce NX1, than EX71 due balance quality *NX1 probably base from EX51 ..my guess QUOTE(donkeykwong @ Mar 13 2006, 02:48 PM) The Sony NX-1's are pretty good if you have a small mp3 player, you can attatch it to the bottom, i have a pair, they're pretty good, but sometimes you may find them a little underpowered, they dont feel as 'punchy' as the EX-71's although your looking at a big diff in price.

yoh ..
for me if compare with Grado SR-60 ,Grado would be the winner (*but is not fair to compare with headphones)
but if compare with SHE9500 ,Philips one I will keep in the house always.
This is the few stuff I currently having.

This is the few stuff I currently having. and if u compare the ksc75...@ rm100, which i believe is...fair, both of them will east dust. it is only natural that the sr60 sound better but probably not enough to justify the extra RM180-190...i'd rather get 2 more ksc75 for with that money This post has been edited by AlamakLor: Mar 18 2006, 12:01 PM

I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD 212 Pros right now. I use my headphones mostly for gaming, but also for some music. Listen to rock the most. What would I be looking at for my next set?
