flashing not really that hard.. it easy..

just follow this.

1. rooting process (for having the superuser in ur phone)
a. install z4root.apk
b. run the z4root
c. make sure u has wifi connection.
d. select the permenant root

if the rooting failed, start again from c.

After rooting done, u should have the "SuperUser" at menu.

2. install the ROM Manager (for install custom recovery)
a. download and install the rom manager. (free version should be enough)
b. make sure wifi on and can surf internet.
c. run rom manager.
d. select the "flash clockworkmod recovery"
e. select the "commtiva z71 (boston, blaze, and more)
f. there should bar indicate the download process at the top. wait download to be complete. around 3mb+
g. after finish. it will popup that flash already complete.. u can try by "reboot into recovery". if green recovery exists, mean this process complete. go to next step.

if the process failed, start again from b.

3. backup the stock rom using rom manager
a. run rom manager
b. select "backup current rom"
c. give it a name as u like
d. press ok
e. wait the phone reboot and it will automatic backup all the stock rom.

4. install the Phantom Revolution rev1 ( after u backup stock rom)
a. download the Phantom Revolution rev1 nb0.
b. make sure u install the SUTLR
c. connect ur phone via USB but, DONT MOUNT THE SD CARD
d. run the SUTLR and browse to the PK nb0
e. Press next because there will state ur device connected
f. Press next again and it will start flashing.. DO NOT DISCONNECT UR PHONE!!

5. finish - after flashing, there will be android logo. change language and customize as u like....

to flash. no need ..

just need the nb0, sutlr and drivers(if not install yet)

rooting yes. depends on what application u use.

last time i use the z4root. need internet and working fine.

there got oneclickroot if i not wrong. no need internet...

bro, rooting and flashing are the different.

if u flash, no need to root oredi since u will install other firmware in ur phone. meaning the original 2.1 rom will be deleted.

flashing no need wifi.

now u use what rom?

if u flash, then u need to flash phantom revolution rev1 rom. because, the spice 2.1 is official but not with csl logo and the rom suck...

yes, just flash directly since ur rom cannot boot, there no point backup that rom.

flash spice 2.1, then flash the phantom revolution rev1.

if that case, plug in ur charger, go to clockworkmod recovery mode.

go to advance, there u can see wipe batery status.. just click it and after that. unplug ur charger. reboot device..

bro, 60%. how about the red and green button? which one light?

red indicate battery not full.
green indicate battery full.

batter from empty to full need at least 1hour 45minutes for me..

hehe.. ngntuk u go to sleep. let the phone connect to charger for tonight la..

Hi all Si Fu,

Tries N times and Give up... The SUT can't detect my phone.... never..... any guide can provide? i follow below and 1st STEP also very confuse d.
Installation
1. Install original recovery only if you have clockworkmod (clockworkmod is not compatible with sut lr) -> power on your phone in fastboot mode [red + sound down + power] and execute “Install Original Recovery.bat”
2. Install SUT LR 1.7 (if you don't have it already) -> execute “Install SUT LR.bat”(SUT LR is an upgrade of deprecated old RUT).
3. Open SUT LR and select NB0 file
4. Connect your phone to your computer
5. Switch it to recovery mode [vol up + camera + power] and click next in sut lr
6. If it doesn’t detect your phone, you need to enable search and download driver from windows update
7. Select clear user data option, click next and wait till it's done
8. Do a master reset [camera + red + power] after sultr complete and before it reboots from recovery
Any more easier way and how to let SUT can detect my phone?
