Right now I'm still using the stock 2.1..bought the phone last April.

Never really bothered to update to higher android version..as this version is good enough for my daily usage - my longest record of battery usage is currently 2 days + with minimum usage,some wi-fi,calls and texts and most of the juice went to phone idle and cell standby.

But on the not so pleasant side,games and some applications are not so smooth,compared to my brother's Mi320(or was it Mi310?) which is on android 2.2 upon purchase.I can't move apps to SD,which is a function that I really missed.

I wanted to update,but my most worries lies in the battery lifetime since I'm already comfortable charging every 2-3 days.I think I'll try CM7 rom..how is the battery usage?Any difference between v5.1 and v.5?

Anyone ever tried the official update to Froyo from Cherry Mobile?
Though the name Nove seems to be more fancier than Spice..
