I had the same problemo...

My phone seem have a problem with network even I had flashed to several CM7 rom, and now with Phantom still got the same problem. After turning on about 10 minutes, the network signal look okay, even can make call, smses in this 10 minutes, then it just cannot send or retrieve sms even a call. Have to reboot baru ok. Any idea?

Can phantom use kernel SuperAosp or other kernel?

Solution for my own problem that I found is to set Network Mode to "GSM Only" in mobile network setting.
The default setting was "GSM/WCDMA auto".

When i was on CM7 xde lah pulak jadi mcm tu...

Your problem is not settle yet?

Try reflash back like what i've done here:

This is the step that i do:
1. Flash to stock Spice v2.1 first.
2. After finished, turn off the phone.
3. Start SUTR on your pc and choose your nb0 files; and select "Erase user data" on Update option.
4. Turn on your phone in Fastboot Mode (End_call + Vol_Down + Power) and connect your data cable.
5. SUTR should detect you phone and then click Next.
6. Wait until it finished (maybe there will be some error at last process, just ignore them and click finish.
7. Turn off your phone. If cannot turn off just do it the hard way (cabut bateri lol)
8. Turn on your phone in Master Reset mode (End_call + Camera + Power) and it should boot up in your new rom

9. I don't remember, to clear Dalvik in Recovery Mode should be before master reset or after.

Sometime you have to try it several time until it can detect your phone.
If not try to use download mode.
