I still using my old cm330 case and Q6600@3.2ghz with xigmatek achilles cooler with cpu idle at 48/50...is there anyway to drop the temperature
Should I get a new HAF pc case or cpu cooler

More air hole and fan = more fresh air and better temp for sure . Since you already hav a aftermarket cpu cooler , it is a good choise to change for better case . |

recommend u cm 690 II advanced
temp wise, not much u can do bout it u can try lower the vCore cause i think 3.2 dun nid that much . mine last time 3.6 required 1.45v and it loads around 67C on WC its still in the safe zone so no worry . get a better casing for better flow . |

haf 922 or 932 are good cases IMO. bigger space that can accommodate almost anything (of course except SR-2), and has a good cable management at the back of the mb tray.
