Janus sounds interesting. Anyone has a handson experience?
I think if you want a security door you need to spend some money for the product. Consider the alternative costs: high quality wooden door, good lockset, grill + lockset for the grill. will easily be quite steep too. and both doors should have equal security - otherwise a thief can just enter from the back right?
i have platinum security door. this is good (and it was "expensive") but honestly speaking if i had know about janus when i made the purchase i probably would have bought theirs from what i read. in general the security doors are pretty great. no need for a grill and they are indeed hard to break. but look at the weak spot: the lockset from the china-doors is not up to par but still pretty damn good to deter malaysian robbers
