Actually I've seen Janus brochure and product before in last year Mar Home Fair in JB. I got keep it till today.

I dig it out, and go to the given address for the agent stated in the brochure, you cant imagine the scenario of it.

Maybe it's just an agent, the address given is a home address. Not a shop or office. You cant see any product there. As that "house" looks like foreign factory worker hostel, so I din stop to walk in as well.
I phoned the HP and Land phone number, no one pick up, so I left that place.

As for the New Edge, during Oct'14 Home Fair in JB, I feel like their price is not flexible enough...

Eg: Promotion RM3300 for single door and 5' x 7' door
I requested to take an upgrade of the 5' x7' door to "door within door type"
Promoter said cannot even though I said I willing to top up $$.
I did told her, I have intention to get 1 single door, 1 stainless steel and 1 5' x 7' "door within door"

She said, no such promo/discount price for it. IF you want, you need to pay as per individual price for each of it....

Guys those with security door installed, how u all reduce the gap at the bottom? Wanna block insects from coming in.

i'm satisfied with YSE brand. Price 2.6k for 7x5 and 1.6k for 3x5. Some other shop selling more expensive.. manage to get at bkt tinggi klang.. star door.

The door sits lower than ur kitchen floor
so u have 3 level in total:
1. kitchen floor (highest)
2. another level for door to "sit" on
3. road

Everybody is concern about the price, anyone know that after sales service is the most important thing, as recently my fren's door knob spoiled and she try to call the door shop (China Door to change the knob (A small knob inside the door, manual, not the key lock), they charge her RM300!!!! Listen RM300 is just for the bullshit knob only, not inclusive lockset, handle, cylinder lock etc...My fren really regret to bought a door like this kind of after sales service which is quoted with sky high price.....Quality also soso only.......so whoever going to buy security door better survey as well after sales service

Not sure whether different dealer can repair or not. Cause the size of the lock set & design might be different I think.

Becareful of the lock in security Door. It can get jammed.

Sometimes the security door is too "secure" that it secure you outside when the lock is jammed.
I have been surveying around and came across lots of brands, try to spend a little more and go for a brand with better quality. You can easily notice the differents between a "Buy 1 Free 1" brands and those better ones, especially on the hinges, finishing, and lockset.

Hi all, do you know where can i get a smaller security door? the normal security door need 41" for the width, but my kitchen door is only able to fit in for 39".

please be carefull with china made. You can compare with local manufactured. also check the door thickness.. that more important. Never trust shop.

IMO, just normal only. Try to look at YSE and Secure. If I not mistaken Secure is from Shinjin marketing and they got a factory in Puchong. Price is slightly higher, but the quality and after sales service is good according to experience from relatives.

Which brand is having this type of hinges? Went to top security door they are having year end promo.

Try to survey for the price for YSE & Secure. I have been to many of this show room, so far, this 2 brands I found is having better built quality in my opinion. And also there are a post mentioned about shinjin marketing providing good after sales service, and they are the manufacturer for Secure brand.
