For my hospital(Damansara Specialist Hospital) I only need to prepare one set of my own going home clothings and one set of baby going home clothings(mittens, socks, shirt, hat and a swaddling cloth).

Re swaddling cloth, some Chinese believe that swaddling the baby with daddy's t shirt is good. Forgotten what's the reasoning but I did it ayway.

Hi,

I took below things to the hospital when I went to deliver;

For Baby:

1. Diapers
2. 3-4 sets of clothes for baby (Long sleeves baby shirts and long pants)
3. Hand gloves (Mittens)
4. Socks
5. Blanket to wrap the baby (Certain hospitals will provide also)
6. Towel (Just in case only)

For Mommy:

1. Lots of Maternity Pads
2. Panties and Bras
3. Pair of slippers
4. Towel
5. Few night gowns or robes (Certain hospitals will provide also)
6. Soap, Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Socks
7. Clothes to wear on the way back home when you are discharged

Hope the above list helps.

wrapped from hospital back home... continue wrapping for as long as my baby was swaddled. around 2 weeks. cuz my hubby's shirt all very big and comfy. we took old t shirts and wrap.

actually come to think of it, the logic behind was that father's shirt is big and used clothes are comfy.
