I order on 29 Apr, so got delivery date set to 20th May (ships out on 16th).

I think the longer you wait to order, the further the ship/delivery date.

btw, why most of u all think of resale value . its not like a car , 40-50k ..its juz 1-3k ...pretty pathetic..duh.........

When ipad 3 comes out.. sell ipad 2 at around rm1800... top up few hundreds can get ipad 3...
instead of having an ipad2 that nobody wants because of wording...

Well how do you know? Rich people like you don't spend time around garage sales to see the demand, and you are not even aware of Apple products' resale value.

bcoz when i buy something , i dont ever think of resale value... if u think of resale value , ur thinking whether the next buyer will like ur thing , and u will buy something u don't like , juz to accommodate ppl

I've ordered on the 29th April. In my email it states delivery is on the 25th May. However if i checked in the Order Status, it has changed to 19th May.

I'm not a fan of Apple products. Never even brought anything from Apple until now with the iPad 2. But like I said, I would like to have the option of selling it in case the iPad 2 fails to fulfill my needs.

Maybe not, but it still can fetch for a pretty good price depending on the buyer & timing.

I choose not to and mainly due to potential resell, plus I don't see the point of engraving when I'm going to cover the entire unit with a full body case.

well, u do have your point here.....anyway, i did it and it's a special collection for me...

maybe machines and other resellers get less stock?
