Hey guys I'm currently running on AMD's hex core 1055T on a MSI 770-C45 mobo. I've replaced my stock cooler with a CM V6GT. Thing is, whenevr I look into bios on restarting my pc, the bios shows core temps of round 35-38C whereas once it enters windows, the core TEMP software that I'm using clocks idle at 27-29C and full load via stress test at 35-37C. I've did the check with AMD Overdrive with the same results. Are these two temp readings from both software reliable? I've updated my bios to the latest.

Can any1 recommend me a more reliable software (if needed)

Thanks guys

Will try hwmonitor & real temp. Core temp software as stated above

Added on May 1, 2011, 12:24 amok here are my findings,

Core Temp, HWMonitor & AMD Overdrive readings are the same

Idle: 27'C
Max load on stress test via AMD Overdrive Stability Test: 35'C

All at stock settings. Is this normal??? I dont know how else to get a proper reading

Yes they do. Temp on idle is between 25-27C full load is between 34-37C not running on watercooler. Just CM V6GT with the stock fans.

if i'm not mistaken temperature sensor for phenom ii x6 is incorrect...

i read it at overclock.net...correct me if i'm wrong

I'm using both "Core Temp" & "HWMonitor". I would say "Core Temp" is better, give it a try! smile.gif
