Try a product called BACTICOL.
It's the best I've ever used to protect my dogs from ticks. Bathing alone is not enough - you have to soak your dogs in the medicine i.e. put them in a tub or pool.
Second thing you need to go is call the pest control to treat your hse i.e. spray anti-tick medicine on the floor / walls.
Keep your dogs in a clean isolated place (away from the cows) until the tick problem is fully resolved. If left to get out of control the ticks can kill your dogs so be careful.
Good luck

Bayticol is a little dangerous (as it is a very strong poison) and used often can cause damage to your dog's liver and kidneys. Also it isn't prevention of ticks, it simply kills any that are already on your dog's body.
I strongly recommend reserving Bayticol use for only if you have a huge infestation (you can spot at least 1-2 ticks on any give square-cm of your dog's body). I mostly only use it to treat around the house (mop the floors/walls/grass areas/cracks/dogs bedding/etc).
@TS - If your dogs don't like the Frontline spray, go for one of the Spot-on products that work just as well (if not better as they are much easier to apply). Although a lot of people use tick collars, i have never personally been convinced that they are that effective.
You can put a Bayticol barrier around the compound of your house which should prevent new ticks from coming in (just make sure you have cleared any ticks hanging around your house as well or it won't make a difference, remember ticks can hibernate for a long long time if they can't find a source of food).
