any idea how to make my ipad to act as an storage. I mean to drag and drop file into it. The thing is i plugged it onto my mac but the storage icon doesnt appear. can anyone help me with it

Not directly possible. Just do wirelessly using something like DropBox. Use the "cloud" method, it's the future.
