Should be a test mule for new gearbox lah. Mitsubishi 'lent' their CVT to Proton via Inspira anyway.

tis saga facelift will come wit iafm plus + cvt(from germany)..estimated will launch on year end..

U so sure? I think they probably gonna put the IAFM & CVT in a different car instead of Saga...

the guys from cari who got fren work at proton,so i believe the news from him..saga 2nd facelift ,persona R will got iafm plus + CVT...maybe our pe can upgrage to iafm plus as well

Guys, ive found new problem in my PErsona 1.6A HL.... my car is de first batch PErsona (June 2009) (60k mileage nw)..

my car can start engine like normal, but when revv the accelerator ntg is happening!!!.. the rpm meter doesnt move.. onli yellow engine light on meter panel light up... cant drive de car..
den have to call my fren to do sumting.. he did unplug-plugin some connector underneath steering, ontop accelerator..
afte that, reset battery, den de accelerator functioning agn..
went to Proton de weekend, he said throttle body washer need to be replaced... he said already did, (i belief he changed ntg!!) bt since the day carr seems to be diff..

engine sound abit diff., accelerator nt responsive at all.. nt nice to drive anymore.. googled abt dis, n found 0 solution..
any idea's sifu.. pls help me..

The CVT make remind me the Turbocharged Campro for Exora, but it was CPS + CVT instead of IAFM+CVT, i dig out some spec for the Exora.:

Hmmm.. Bring to COSE to tune ur ECU.. settings must have been lari a bit ady.

Did u change ur rims to any aftermarket rims? Cos u need centre cone if u were to upsize ur rims..
Another thing is to tell them to tightened undercarriage.. Its probably loose in some areas..

If can.. Bring it to Serdang SC there.. Try to find a fella name Jacky. But please approach him discreetly.. And ask him to tune ur ECU for u.. Cost Rm80 only.. But he shd be able to diagnose out the problem for u lah.

9.5:1 comp.. Awesome.. Can prepare to boost 0.65bar ady..

will the coming CVT form Proton using this Transmission:

maximum hp handling of 98kw @6000rpm and engine speed of 800-6000rpm only doesnt suit with Campro engines leh..
Campro redlines at 6500RPM and theoretical rev cut at 7250RPM.. So definitely this gearbox would be overworked.

i use 17inch rim but din put centre cone oh..xandras said got at tyre shop last time..but his fren never install it lo

zeng,u r rite the cvt tat the proton will use in future,ady confirmed is come from germany,and the gearbox onli able tahan until 215nm torque and around 160bhp..if over,the cvt gearbox will overheat

yeah spec no so ngam, but heard that it will be from the same manufaturer Punch powertrain maybe Proton this time getting the outdated model again hai...
