Gave the egg to my wifey since I got my Desire Z but she's still trying to get to grips with a smart phone. Actually found that 5MP cam can take respectable pics and it has more settings than the egg too. And the low light performance rocks. tongue.gif

In fact most of the special interest threads are too and that's why you find a lot of them do not contribute to the post counts anymore. But what the heck, we are here to get to know other users and post counts does not enrich you in any way too. laugh.gif

Set your widgets to Offline mode in Homescreen options and also set your local and roaming network to WLAN Only in connectivity settings.

Also other apps like WhatApps is known to drain off your 3G connection even though you have Wifi connection enabled only. For other tips, search the FP to see if any of the posting there can help you.

What is it actually?

Anyway, I realize that sound quality in video taken by N8 is much much better then just recording the sound using the normal sound recorder app. Especially in music, like recording guitars and vocals. Why is it so? Isn't it supposed to be the sound recorder app should be better?

P/s - I'm using chan2's mods.

Maybe it's recording is stereo instead of mono like most phones do? Check it out and I might be wrong. tongue.gif

Papago M6/M7 seems to be available for Symbian 5th edition. Not sure if there's any version for Symbian ^3. But I already have it on my Desire Z. biggrin.gif

The N8 cannot initiate a PPPOE dial up like your PC. You must configure the router to connect automatically and then configure the WIFI for your N8 to connect. BTW, what's your phone's color?

I quite understand how you feel. I've been a Nokia supporter for the past 15 years of my life and it's a sad day for Nokia when a user like me to finally decide to jump ship to a better OS. The cam on the N8 is great but the cam on my current phone is not bad either. Just need to compensate a little, that's all.
