Tried the search but didn't find a precise answer.

Im about to buy a Nintendo 3DS (Ice White!) here in the UK. I'll be returning back to Malaysia at some point so wanted to know whether the region lock will cause a problem. There's supposed to be 3 regions right, US UK and Jap. So which one does the games sold in Malaysia use?

I understand my eshop will follow the UK/euro releases but that shouldn't be causing any problems. Only the games sold in Malaysia I'm worried of.
