i would be surprise if this game is in the budget game... but its not. its a full retail game at $60. short game run, and low game contains. And Reviewers gave it 9.5/10?? wadafak?

i guess valve learn how to milk consumers.

play finish already.
the game isn't exactly short (homefront/K&L2)

and the contents are pretty cool if ur into it (developer commentory-show how the game was made, coop)

the whole reason the game got 9+ was because it is very rare for such a game to exist and also be good at the same time. If you look back at the major release from Jan'11 - Apr'11, pretty much most of it someway or form involves shooting/cutting dudes in the face.

IMO it is worth $60 IF

. you don't want to play a game where you shoot dudes in the face
. you kinda like puzzle game
. you sorta like the Half-Life universe
. you have a friend sitting next to you playing co-op
. if your england not very power, you might not catch most of the jokes

homefront and K&L have good MP portion. Well at least homefront does. Its rare puzzle game that price at $60 thats a 'yes'. Well during jan'11 and apr'11 there are few games which dont need to blow up ppl and those are xbla titles.

Havent played Portal 2 not planing to buy it unless its discount.. Played Portal 1 which was $15 which is really reasonable. An theres other games which are 'humorous' and it priced at $10 to $15. i dont think this game justify to be price at $60 maybe at $30

At least they should include a user created map for users to create maps and share with ppl in COOP like other games halo:reach, LBP. But they didnt

Anyway, for those planning to puchase it on xbox, dont. Instead get a copy for ps3. it comes with a gift code for portal 2 on steam. If possible get it from a friend who owns a ps3 copy, then u have a free game.

/end rant

If you haven't played the game, how would you know it's a short game run and low game contents? lol.

i received a free copy on steam from a friend who brought a ps3 version. And yes, it is short. For me, Portal 1>Portal 2. Portal 2 scores better in graphics (using latest valve engine) and better voice acting and story. Puzzles however have not improved. Most of ur time, you will be looking for a place to shot ur portal gun at from a distance (that segment hold 40% of the SP length), which is usually solve by spamming ur p gun.

Same person Chell. If u play portal 1, u find it odd. She clearly escape to the surface. Part 2 she landed back to her cell.

She's just a mute and it's not a robot (an Asian looking angelina j). Valve's portal 1 was a budget game so they decided to strip some of the voice acting. U will only hear voices of Glados tricking u about the cake and has the best ending song

And If ur asking which is the best character in portal series? I vote the crazy b**** Glados for her female personality ( 5 mins ago she wants u dead, and latter wants to ur friend)

No the AI u "killed" in portal 1 and return latter as a potato, after u help mr wigley. Portal "part" 1 and portal "part" 2 are heavily related. If u havent played the first portal it's quite hard to understand especially the characters. Portal is in XBLA sometime in 2008
