if your hands itchy can try loosening the timings and increase the speed.

1600 already good enough:D..if it was me i think i wud be happy ready.

Ram clocking advice
First u need to check chipset characteristics
Second reduce vdimm to lowest on rated speed
Third dram scaling on speed to vdimm based on fixed latency

Anybody who tells u otherwise is a noob

1600 reduce timing can already. Higher than 1600 gives reduced performance bonus
