Wanna ask, anyone here bought Lego Mindstorm from oversea online store before?
As i know toys import to Malaysia will need to pay 15% import tax.

an amount above RM500 (including shipping) will be subjected to 10% tax under Toys.

been missing for the whole month and took a few hours to catch up
congrats to all the new hauls!!! looks delicious

took a short trip to sg and found out that their variety of lego @ TRU compare to ours -shamble - was so much better!!!

and couldnt resist to pick up a few lego sets

4645 Harbor (bought for the lil nephew)
3368 Space Center (bought for the lil nephew)

6862 Superman™ vs. Power Armor Lex (sneak in purchase during nephew haul.. kekeke .. dont think the missus notice)

the lil one took couple of hours to assemble the Space Center... and below are a couple of shots of it.



Overall a great march haul.. but now i am super broke
time to save up for the Series 7

There is this contest going on Eurobricks as per Architecture week there. I made an architectural scale Menara Maybank. I think it is almost like the real building except that the black windows detail have to be left out. Still thinking if I should design a UCS scale Menara Maybank in LDD.

Why not Petronas Twin Tower? Well Menara Maybank is closer to my office than the Twin Towers and I have the bricks to do it. Also it is much much easier to build haha

Great haul man. Was the price in Singapore cheaper than here? Since you bought so many I suspect it is cheaper there. You didn't snag a Batman from the aisle there?

On another note, another model has just reached 10,000 on Lego Cuusoo!!

very nice Menara Maybank. Maybe after the Architecture Week, you can modify it (with windows) and submit to LEGOLAND@MY keke... maybe can display your master piece there.

as for pricing in SG, i din really take note as i had no choice but to buy them
-cannot break a promise to a 7'old-

I was trying to buy them in TRU@MY but did not find any. So ended up doing last min shopping in TRU@SG.

Speaking of batman!!!.. yes i wanted the 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape... but it escaped my hands instead

Perhaps some other day....

Now i need to find a way to break the news about the coming 10225 R2-D2™ to the missus
