there might be 2 event for grand final 3v3 & 1v1. For 1v1 it will be invitational, but limited slots to foreigner i think, maybe u'll have to go through some sort of qualifier, we will decide about this soon.

yes , KL tournament would be @ HPpot cyber cafe. u can join any states, however if u win any placement(#1,#2,#3) in any of the states, u are not allowed to join other upcoming states tournament.

the initial idea was to have a 4v4 tournament, which we tried to negotiate but only manage to reduce it to 3v3. From what i heard from some forumers, the previous 2v2 turn up was bad cuz chances of winning anything is low. and also i think the short notice of the tournament and publicity wasnt good enough. I've seen a lot of team game players in cyber cafes who doesn't post on forum, 3v3 state tournament is just a promotional event to cater to our malaysian net cafe culture. Anyway the decision is final regardless what people say, if the result is bad, then it's good, u guys win and the organiser can learn from the mistake, imo any form of event at all is better than none.

i actually wanted to propose to have 4th prize available, but it was too late. but i still think that 3rd prize is not hard to achieve if u're a fringe player, i can tell u that not much of our 1v1 players r gonna spend much time to come up with a solid 3v3 strat, probably u can come up with some solid cheese strat to even win #1

If you're trying to improve of the community of sc2, why are you canceling the tournament just so because that there are unforseen technical issue?
alright, would you rather have a subang intel-gaming party repeat? where the scenario would be us asking u to go home on the event date?

Like that everytime there's technical issue you cancel the tournament instead of trying to solve it? How to enlarge the community of sc2 like that.
we will try our best to solve the problem until the last minute , well at least not really until the tournament day, we have decided not to delay another day to solve the problem so that u can be informed earlier not to come on that particular day.


Might as well don't host in the first place then.
