I am looking for headphones with this kind of PV covers. Not those cheap ones that tears off when used several times. My budget is up to RM150. Use for it is FPS gaming + music (preferably good bass headset) Any recommendation ? Edit : - Your rig : Normal gaming laptop with SRS (but turned off cuz I don't like it now) - What type of usage : As stated above, FPS gaming + music - File format used in your source : MP3 - Genre of music you listen to : Blues, Rock, Metal, Oldies - Headphone/ earphone type : Headphone - Other requirements : Like the photo provided, I want the ear thingy there to be PV/leather-like covered, not the cheap soft cloth kind. This post has been edited by phantomkid: Jun 30 2011, 11:39 PM

QUOTE(gu~wak_zhai @ Jun 30 2011, 11:58 PM) if u can increase ur budget.. with your requirements.. i'd recommend this 1.. Bose on earnot sure about the price tho.. apple store shld have it.. If got enough $$ surely can but really can't increase further than 150 (max I can take out). But probably when I start earning $ again in these few months I'll go for that. More suggestions are really appreciated.

QUOTE(calmshot @ Jul 1 2011, 01:05 PM) Since u have budget constraint, recommend u go for superlux headphone range, search it in audio garage sale. Superlux eh? My friend told me to get this too since my budget is low. Thanks ! Planning for either 668 or 631.

Hi there guys, it's me again. I went to Jaben Networks today for some auditioning. I tried a few like Audio Technica, KOSS, Sennheiser, Superlux (all without amp).
Audio Technica (not sure of the model) was kinda... low on bass, more like no bass. KOSS was extremely good on the bass. Sennheiser was just perfect for me and Superlux was just bad on the overall volume (probably cuz I don't have amp?)
So I would like to ask, since Sennheiser HD202 (the one I tried) has the 'cheap' padding which would.. tear off easily, I am able to change the padding to cloth or PV/leather-ish type ?
P/S : The English speaking Indian at SS15 Jaben is VERY VERY helpful. I love the way he assisted me. It was very nice. Thanks Jaben for having such nice worker. Keep it up.
