Hi, Can someone recommend me an earbud which looks and maybe sound similar to B&O A8 or ATH-EC700 or Aurvana Air? I'm not too particular about SQ since this is for casual use (where the environment will be too noisy anyway ) but my only requirement is that there must be no sibilance or harsh highs. Many thanks! Added on May 15, 2011, 10:23 pmEDIT: Budget... Should not exceed the ones I quoted, although I wouldn't mind anything cheaper >.< And it'll be driven by my Galaxy S. Thanks for the reply. Koss over budget liao AKG K316 is meant for sporting use right? Would it be suitable for people who have specs (those earlooks look kinda large)? I know the ATH-EC700 and Aurvana Air have thin metal frames which are alright.

Hi again... It would seem my original plan to acquire an A8/CM700/Aurvana Air is unsuccessful. These earbuds are either too old or just way too "unpopular" in Malaysia lol... So right now I'm thinking of getting a Sennheiser MX880 or AKG K319, are there any other better options besides these 2? (No Yuins because they seem to have reliability issues). Also, would it be better to invest in an amp, say Fiio E11 for around RM222 (E1 - AKG's bulk) or absorb everything and spend it all on a higher end earphone? I'm open to any suggestions, including IEMs (Shure SE215 looks kinda cool with clear housing) Thanks!

QUOTE(MrJinggles @ May 18 2011, 08:28 PM) Personally, I'd spend the cash on a good set of IEMs before buying an amp to pair it with. Thanks for the input I think I'll be going for a Shure SE215.
