hmmm..i haven use my hippo to listen snsd    but i admit it has lot bass..sound magic and fischer i dint test b4..tat guy up there shoud answer ur question (iDews?) if u dont like bassy u can try akg k3xx series..akg r more on sound but there r rm100+++

dont go for ifrogz.... the quality build is really not that durable.... i bought it last time and my ifrogz earpollution only last me a couple of hours... and no returns also....

PL20 is kindda light on bass.... i would recommend u PL21, its actually a balance phone with added bass for kicks.... i really love the sound but sometimes the bass on PL21 could be a bit over powering (im getting old maybe, so sensitive with bass)

to sum up its something like this:

PL20 - its clear, detailed sounding but the bass would be a little light for some.
PL21 - i have this phone (well still have it) and for its price... it gives a good detail, punchy bass but not to the extend its muffled the voice.

Yeah, after doing a bit of research, the M9 seems to be the best choice at that price range. But what about the KOSS Sparkplug, eh? Can't find much reviews on that one.

i thinking to buy sony MDR-ZX100 or  sony MDR ZX300

sony center midvalley and times square sell it. dunno if worth it or got other headphone better within price range. can help recommend and advise? tq. ^^
