IEM less than RM90 and durable + clear sounds.

Seriously nice?
How about PL-21?

I'm kinda more concerned on the wire headings now.
But I'm also more of a pop, r&b, kpop, ballad listener. PL-20 is a wise choice? smile.gif

PL20 is kindda light on bass.... i would recommend u PL21, its actually a balance phone with added bass for kicks.... i really love the sound but sometimes the bass on PL21 could be a bit over powering (im getting old maybe, so sensitive with bass)

to sum up its something like this:

PL20 - its clear, detailed sounding but the bass would be a little light for some.
PL21 - i have this phone (well still have it) and for its price... it gives a good detail, punchy bass but not to the extend its muffled the voice.

do choose your poison....

Thanks. Care to describe the texture and fit of the IEM? biggrin.gif

Also, how about Koss KEB//70. Kinda like the contruction but have no idea on the SQ.
Also, iFrogz Timbre's construction too.

Might need it for reference. icon_rolleyes.gif

I got my MEElectronics M9 for RM70.
Quite satisfied with it but need a bit more burn-in to really know. On par with my drawer ridden Superlux HD381F and far better than my stolen Sony MDR-EX50LP.

Yeah, after doing a bit of research, the M9 seems to be the best choice at that price range. But what about the KOSS Sparkplug, eh? Can't find much reviews on that one.

Koss Sparkplug is oso a good choice..

TBH, I don't like the style and it also have fitting and isolation issues. Not gonna recommend it.
If I had a bit more budget, I would get Hippo Shroom. nod.gif

Superlux HD661. Good reviews from the web too. But almost skimmed the RM200 mark.

P/S: Speaking of headphones, anyone knows how to source for AKG K81DJ pads? Suitable types from other brands is accepted too.

Someone I knew just bought himself a-JAYS ONE after I recommended him some shop which specialises in Audiosmex. Got compare betweeen Crossroads Bijou. Man, I'm getting the itch to get a nicer one and abandon my Meelec M9. Good thing I didn't try the Shure, if not the poison is too much. sad.gif tongue.gif
