Yes, just stay away from any product with the name of Beats, Dr.Dre, Ifrogz, Skullcandy, etc. As recommended above, Sennheiser HD202 is indeed a decent choice. Have a look at Shure SRH240, Beyerdynamic DT231 pro too. Those are real audiophiles brand tongue.gif

I'm using a Creative Tactic 3D Alpha, and it's good in terms of the audio quality and the bass. Was just wondering if anyone knows of something I could upgrade to, for gaming. I'm a WOW player, but i used to play just the rpg bit, now i'm going more into PvP and I find that the creative headphone's positioning in terms of the sound isn't quite good enough. Picking up FPS games too... so something with better positional sound would be great.

If anyone's gotta tip give me a heads up? Oh yea... also the creative headphones are relatively small and light, so they're good for my small female head and neck. I tried the steel series and plantronics headphones but found it too bulky and heavy =/

been using for 8 months n it serves well. got it from jaben rm199, apple store selling 259/269.

like the flat cable design and looks quite gd. bassy IE. did audition more than 5 IE at jaben and ended up with this. but the white colour wordings on the cable will fade off after some time, normal wear n tear issue thou.

Can't expect much more passive isolation from an over-ear headphones.  Either you move on to active noise cancellation which is far beyond your budget or something in between, in-earphones.

any over ear headphone .. if exceed 300 still okay with me ..
any recommendation ??

Sorry, as this is Audiophile's headphones / earphones recommendation corner and you are looking for gaming headset, you may not get much response. Did be better off asking at Gamers' hideout: http://forum.lowyat.net/GamersHideout.

Gaming is not really heavy and enthusiastic kind. Just stating it as a extra point if its possible. I favour my other requirements more.
