i think Beats go for Fashion more the bass is too over and the price is not worth to getting it.

basically open type sounds better than closed ones of the same cost range, but closed type have stronger noise-isolation. correct me if i'm wrong

Yup, you are right. The semi is a compromise.

Since its a semi-open headphone? Will sound leak from the headphones? I need to emphasise that it doesnt leak sound.

P.S: The HD438/448 has a more dynamic frequency range. Would that be better if i wanted to go for a full circumaural headphone?

It does leak minimal.

"Dynamic frequency range" ... doesn't reflect the actual performance of the headphones.

How would the K99 perform compared to the two sennheiser models i posted earlier? Leakage and SQ wise.

No experience with the Senns but beware of imitation / fakes, plenty of them around
