Please recommend me a good earphone. I have my eye on Sennheiser MX 580 so if there's anything better please recommend. I'm open to any alternatives as stated below.

- My Rig: Mp3 Player, Laptop
- Type of usage: Music only
- File format: mp3, flac
- Music genre: pop, rock, ????
- Budget: < RM170
- Headphone/ earphone type: ear bud/intraaural
- Other requirements: a) Having inline volume control is a plus but not important. b) Easily available here in "boleh" land.

Usually for chillax-ing at home but may whip it out for the occasional train journey.

Sound leakage issue? hmm.gif

Bro EI - AKG is selling it for RM5XX. There are a few forumers sellings along that line. It will be much pricier if you're getting it at a store.

I have had PL30 before. Getting a good fit can become an issue and requires practice(well, at least I did. My friend whom I sold it to didn't). However it did have a good warm sound signature and decent overall clarity. Overall sound is balanced. Bass isn't too shy or too big, treble is sparkly but not too bright and mids is rich and quite forward, also it was never sibilant. The adjustable bass knob does quite little to the bass but is noticeable. The selection of tips is also very good. I used foam for easier fitting. Also very very solid build quality.

I have no comments on the other 2. The Brainwavz however looks to be promising as well.
