sometimes, after u use several apps, it is possible one of them not closed properly... may take 10-20 secs to shut down.

nornally it takes only 2 secs to shut down.

if it happens often, it means there is one app that is giving trouble.

u should take a look at the apps and remove the suspicious ones.

one possibility is kodi with a lot of obsolete/defunct addons/files that are residing inside and u did not exit properly.

check also your memory/storage and ensure they are not running out.

if it persists, best to flash the box and resinstall yr apps.


player -> avr - > tv... if the avr is rather new and hdmi passthru working good, it should be no problem.

to isolate a potential avr problem, u can connect player-> tv direct and try for a while, see if problem goes away or not.

Anyone knows where to get an L- shaped USB adapter for my Q10pro? The ports at the left side are blocked by the sides of the cabinet. I didn't forsee it to be such a big unit.

There is no other place I can put the Q10 except that particular spot.

Don't you think I already searched for them. Google will give a lot of overseas suggestions, but locally very difficult to get There are no locally available that suits my needs. You have to consider which direction the female is facing when connected.

Maybe I wil just sell the Q10 pro and get the Egreat A10 instead, where the USB connectors are at the back.

Don't you guys see I am looking for L-shaped cables. Those ordinary extension cable can find anywhere . I have many of them. But how are you gonna bend the cable when there is very little space?

Thanks for the link, but like I said those are from overseas. I am looking for local stores , if possible.

Depending on the positions of these adapters' male connector in relation to the port on the Q10, the female port can end up facing either front, back, or even up and down.

The online store don't give the choice to select the kind that suits my needs, that's why I prefer a local shop where I can look at them physically and select the correct one.

Well, there's a lot in online stores.. Overseas or not, if it looks like it'll fit. Stuff's still cheap enough to worth a purchase and it gets delivered to you. Want more local and faster? Walk into a store.. KL has Plaza Lowyat. Other malls also. Good luck.

My Netflix app is not working ( just continue to load, not even get to sign on screen) and I can't seem to find the app in play store.
So ....how do I download a new version of the Netflix app??

Apkmirror or better still, use your smart TV's app (if available) instead for full res.. Else, only max 480p.

I experience this issue when i was using latest firmware decided to downgrade to firmware 5.0 and the stock netflix comes with it working great ( never update it )

Clear instructions on how to upgrade your firmware are available on HiMedia's support website. Same place to download the firmware from too.. Or there's Youtube..

File should download.. If problematic using the device itself, you can use a PC then transfer the apk via USB drive or cloud..
