maybe it's... there is an area code option - select A B or C?

all my BDMV's can load ok.

just that if base setting is 24hz and BD is 30hz, it does not switch.

with BDlite, it will switch like non-BD files.

1.6.6 is very old!
that adfree one is 1.7.4
latest with ad is 1.7.6.

terrraium is indeed very good, very stable, been using it a lot.
that link also has redbox 1.0.
these two combined, u really don't need any other app for eng stuff.

That terra 1.7.4 works v well.

Q16... get final firmware 3.0.4, use restore pin button, all will be clean and good.

This 4.4.2 box is very good for some apps, works even better than q10pro!

Finally bit the bullet and got the Q10pro from nicety so patient answering all of my questions, definitely recommended. And big thanks to AVFAN for sharing wth me his opinions & tips, time to venture into this interesting world.

a few early tips:

.. if new to such boxes... first few weeks, spend time and effort to learn.
.. ethernet always work better than wifi.
.. use of mouse is required for some apps.
.. some apps are easier/more reliable to use than others; most apps need updated versions after a while.
.. this box is capable of a lot of advanced and high quality video and audio capabilities.
.. video/audio output are a consequence of source+player+display; so, good sources are key.
.. local playback with native player is easy and produce excellent video and audio output, esp with a 4k tv and home theater.

Hopefully Nicety updates his sky folder with this 1.7.4 Terrarium

this version has better hardware decoding, sorting feature, nicer androidtv UI (works for Q10pro, not Q16).

most links work smoothly incl live sports.

BUT... only in SD 360/480.

according to the app notes, Mobdro has many licenses to do open source streaming, a legit app.

Thanks again for the tips. Now time to shop for a sound system, dont intend to get a full AVR system as space is a constrain in my new condo.

Weird.... Unable to install Mangotv despite using diff file manager.... Have updated to latest 304 firmware

Q16, mango is embedded in firmware.

It will update itself.

cant remove to install another one.

Anyway, they are all the same.... green or orange...

Terrarium 1.8.0 already uploaded in the OneDrive, you are right official Terrarium has the ads, 1.7.1 is the hacked version which is ads free. The logic very simple, the Terrarium developer did this for free, he/she need the ads to continue sustain. The app will be shutdown soon if the developer has no income to support the service.
