there is truth in that - less reputable or unknown boxes suffer from poor firmware, few or no updates little user support after u buy it.

just to illustrate, i use my q10pro mainly to playback 40-66gb videos incl hd audio, 4k, hevc, 10bit, HDR - with home theater.

apps, i only use a few and kodi is used rarely only.

q5pro will do the job too but i want an HDD inside the box.

my personal experience, in terms of speed(booting, open/close kodi), its faster than q10

So if solely purpose for Kodi should be one of the best pick right. I found some on Mudah that can COD but no box from Andoer. Just other electronic stuff. Seems like this brand is not bad at all since it got other stuff too.

What is the latest firmware for q5 ii? Mine is 1.0.6 which was auto upgraded online, no more play store and it's not compatible with the latest iOS so can't airplay.

1.0.9 is the last and final one.

two versions - emmc and non-emmc... so, check yr box.

u also need google patch to get playstore, youtube, chrome.

Hi, anyone use plex on himedia q10 pro? Why the video stream quality is low?

what do u use plex for in this box?

I got about 3GB movies store in my PC which I wish to stream it to my Q10 pro via PLEX. However stream via home wifi keep buffering so wish to get advice from Plex users about the setup.
